Hello there!
It’s been a busy term, so let’s relax and watch a screening of the awesome 2012 documentary Indie Game: The movie. Entrance is free, we’ll have some soda (or pop, depending on how you roll), and we’ll even have a few copies of the movie to hand out to some lucky peeps in attendance.
If you’re not familiar with the documentary, it features some very well known independent game developers going through the process of immersing themselves in the development process. It’s an amazing documentary, and it’s nothing if not inspiring. Come check it out!
In addition to that, there’s a show coming up called Creative Computing, and we’d like to have a showing from the QGDC. If you’d like to get together for a little jam to put a project or two together before the show, come out to the meeting tonight, and we’ll talk about how to get things organized.

Come on out to Goodwin Hall, room 254, at 8:00pm on Wednesday, March 27th, and watch movies and drink soda (or pop) with us! And what the heck, I’ll bring the old Nintendo Entertainment System again so we can stick around afterwards and play some retro games. Have you every used an old NES system? Want to receive the sword from the old man in Zelda? Or want to whoop Wood Man and the other bad robots in Mega Man 2? Cause we did that last time, and it was pretty sweet.
See you there!
